In its inaugural year, Festival Music House has assembled a stellar lineup of Canadian musicians and built a buzz-generating three-day gala that’s garnered more than 400 invitation requests in its first week alone.
Headlining acts Gord Downie, City And Colour and Stars will captivate a packed Roosevelt Room, but FMH has also assembled an elite collection of Toronto-based DJs to ensure it’s place as a go-to Festival event attendees simply won’t want to leave.
Following Stars’ performance on Sept. 13, Famous Players will expose and then fuse some of indie rock’s most danceable elements as well as gems of past and present. City And Colour’s Sept. 14 set will be followed by a not-to-be-missed three-hour set from Vaneska, one of Toronto’s most revered and respected DJs, known city-wide for her fearless diversity and supreme taste.
And on Sept. 15, as a final nod to our country’s stunning range of musical talent and creativity, The Tragically Hip frontman Gord Downie’s solo performance will be trailed by a pulsating trip alongside former Crystal Castles tour mate Mikey Apples.
Each set will take advantage of the Festival’s extended 4AM license, meaning FMH’s already unforgettable nights hold the promise of continuing well into the mornings that follow.
