Hannah Georgas released her debut LP, “This Is Good” in April 2010. A flurry of glowing album reviews, feature pieces and accolades followed. Hannah was long-listed for the 2010 Polaris Music Prize and received Juno Award nominations for Songwriter of the Year and New Artist of the Year in 2011. XM/The Verge named her Emerging Artist of The Year 2011. Hannah’s music lies somewhere between indie, pop and folk. She delivers her music with a confidence and warmth that welcomes the listener into the song experience. Hannah returns to the studio to record her second album this September. Recent television placements include Wal-Mart’s national back to school campaign, which featured the original song, ‘A Place Called Home’, as well as tracks licensed to Flashpoint, Heroes and Degrassi. Movie placements include Language of a Broken Heart and Detroit Unleaded. Hannah recently signed with peermusic to administer her music worldwide.
